MOTORCYCLING:
I know, I know, what do you ride? Well, I have ridden
a 1999 Black F650 GS for 4k miles, then I bought a brand new 2001
Black R1150 GS. I put 40k on that one. Great machine! Then I had to
try the "Flying Brick!" 2004 Piedmont Red K1200 GT. Well, it's now
Winter-2006 and I just had to go back to the R1200 GS! Bought a used
2006 Silver GS with 2,412 miles on it from a nice guy in Tampa, Florida. I
now have close to 12K on her. No major problems. It's starting to
slow down on the oil consumption. Oh yeah! Get this, I'm still
riding on the same OEM Tourance tires that came with her. I believe
that I will get 13K on these tires! It just blows me away. I keep my
tire pressures at 38 front and 40 rear. Summer or Winter. I also
don't check them as often as I should. Go figure. I'll be with this GS a while! She's
got real SOUL!
Approaching my first 100K in about 15k. Hope to
reach it this year. I love this GS! What a great ride around town,
just great in traffic. Pretty good on gas and Lots of farkles to add
on. There are a couple of things that I wished were a little better.
If the GS had about 115 HP @ the rear wheel, not 95, it would be
perfect! BMW, make it like the R1200 ST. When my warranty is
up I'm looking to change the exhaust, header and drop the cat. I've heard rumors
that if you change out the Cams with the ST Cams, 10 HP instantly! I
will change out the air snorkel also. I'm still having Reservations
about this Can-Buss system that BMW has gone with. It' seems simple,
but still has some bugs to work out. Went to the MOA Rally in
Vermont this year. Had a great time. The GS was super at long distance
also. Well, I'll keep you all posted if I make any major HP Mods.
Hey everyone, Ride Safe and Ride Far! Even if it's not a BMW!

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER/ARTIST:
My journey into the art of photography
began 35 years ago with a simple 35mm Canon FX.
Born in England, raised in Cleveland, I left for California in the
late 60’s where so many were headed for adventure. Ten years later,
when California became crowded, I migrated a little farther up the
coast to Seattle where and became involved in the computer
revolution. The West coast offered many opportunities to practice a
love of art and photography.
In 1990, I moved to the sunny South – Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,
to be exact.
The South, especially the coastal low country, has provided a
different venue from any previous experience for photographic
opportunities.
Photography has always held a fascination for me, and as the digital
revolution has evolved, it only became more of a passion. Embracing
a love of history, an eye for art and a spirit of adventure in the
outdoors, I looked for ways to combine these elements with digital
technology to offer a unique blend, resulting in a style all my own.
My hobbies are golfing, motorcycling, and computer technology.
Recently I completed an extended coast-to-coast motorcycle camping
trip, with lots of memorable photos.
PASSION:
A passion for excellence has always driven the direction for my
career as well as my personal interests. I love quality and
uniqueness. I've always wanted the latest and greatest in
technology...whether it be my computers, TVs, cell phones or
photographic equipment. I like smoking good Cuban cigars.
In my golf bag, you'll find Ben Hogan irons and Callaway metal
woods. When I took to motorcycling, I was drawn to
BMWs...German engineered MACHINES, not just bikes.
So, when my interests in technology, photography and motorcycling
led me to the development of this line of graphic apparel, I again,
looked for a unique, quality product. It became apparent to me
that the typical screen-printing technique for garments did not
provide a long-lasting, good-looking print. I searched and
found the dye-sublimation process which offers superior quality in
terms of bright, colorful reproductions of my graphics onto fabric.
